Jim brings over twenty-five years of experience as an investor, broker, consultant and developer to the Izaak Walton Investors development team.
Jim entered the commercial real estate profession in Denver, Colorado as a sales associate with the office of Grubb and Ellis Commercial Brokerage Company (GE). Today, GE is one of the worlds leading providers of integrated real estate services with collective resources of more than 9,000 people in over 200 offices in more than 30 countries. During Jims tenure with GE he focused on the sale and leasing of major downtown mixed-use and the assemblage of commercial development sites.
Jim relocated to Washington, D.C. and joined the commercial real estate firm of Barnes, Morris, Pardoe and Foster, Inc., (BMPF) which later merged with Insignia ESG which subsequently merged with CB Richard Ellis. As the top producer for Financial and Investment Services Group (FISG), Jim continued his focus on the sale of institutional grade mixed use and office buildings, multifamily properties and the assemblage of commercial development sites. While in Washington, D.C. he earned the prestigious recognition of becoming one of only 10 members of the Washington, D.C. Association of Realtors Top Producers Club for the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area.
During his tenure in Washington, D.C. Jim formed four general partnerships for the acquisition and development of four commercial properties, including two apartment buildings, a self-storage facility and an office building. As managing general partner, Jim oversaw the development, leasing and sale of these properties on behalf of the partnership.
When hes not holding down the fort at FORUM Architects the firm he helped found in Cleveland Peter can usually be found in Yankeetown, either heading out for a day of fishing on the Gulf or meeting with people to talk about the plans for redeveloping Yankeetowns commercial waterfront.
Throughout his 20-year career in design, engineering and construction, Peter has brought a holistic approach to his designs combining art, architecture and technology to respond to social, environmental and economic influences.
Peter's award-winning designs have been recognized locally, nationally and internationally by the American Institute of Architects, Society of American Registered Architects, National Association of Industrial and Office Parks, Preservation and Historical Societies, and the Bi-Annual Sao Paulo, Brazil.
